As a child, Beth Nazco was a skinny, awkward Latina growing up in a mostly White neighborhood. Her unibrow, mustache, buck teeth, and over-sized hand-me-down clothes from fat cousins didn’t win any popularity contests. But it did make her tough.
These days, Beth Nazco is a thirty-something wannabe writer who regularly waxes her excess facial hair. She is an academic advisor and teacher, news junkie, and vivid daydreamer. She enjoys white lies, cheese and air hockey, and would someday like to publish a ridiculously dirty romance novel with a title like Throbbing Love, just to make her mother blush.
Beth’s other names are Mommy and Wifey. She has lived in Utah for most of her life, and has grown to love it despite her best efforts.
